Coronavirus: Bauchi Workers To Donate Salary To Fight Pandemic

In a bid to ensure the coronavirus is thoroughly eradicated, Bauchi state workers have agreed to contribute their salary.

Special Assistant (SSA) on Media to Gov. Bala Mohammad, Mr. Muktar Gidado disclosed this in a statement on Wednesday.

He said “Directors on Grade Levels 16 to 17 both in the state and local governments will contribute five percent of their salaries for the period of aforementioned months.

“Workers on Grade Levels 1 to 15 in the state and local governments will contribute one percent from their salaries for the same months of April, May, and June”.
