The senior pastor of Power City International Church, Pastor Abel Damina revealed during a sermon at his church that clapping for Jesus is wrong and that it’s a false doctrine.

Damina who spoke to members of his congregation at his church in Uyo Akwa Ibom State said;

“Who are clapping for? How can you clap for Jesus. You clap for your Jesus, you clap for yourself, you clap for your Uncle, you clap for your president….are they mates?”.

According to the man of God, clapping in the bible is for mockery, the only way to honour God is by lifting up holy hands.

He further explained that a person that is not unlearning and re-learning is not undergoing bible teaching, there’s no way you will go through bible teaching that wouldn’t unlearn to relearn.
