Qatar 2022: Arsene Wenger Reveals Which Stage England Will Reach

Former Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger, has predicted England to reach the semi-finals of this year’s FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

England will kick-start their 2022 World Cup campaign against Iran on Monday afternoon.

The Three Lions reached the semi-final stage at the Russia 2018 World Cup and lost 2-0 against Belgium in the third-place match.

Former Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger, has predicted England to reach the semi-finals of this year’s FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

The Three Lions reached the semi-final stage at the Russia 2018 World Cup and lost 2-0 against Belgium in the third-place match.

However, Wenger believes Gareth Southgate’s side can reach the semi-final stage in Qatar.

“If you look at the last few years, England should be in the semi-finals at least,” Wenger told The Sun.

“They got to the semi-finals in the Euros and then the final in the Euros. But the doubt comes from what had happened over the past year.

“If they can get over that in their own minds, they’ve the team that’s good enough to reach the semi-finals.”

England are in Group B at the tournament and will face Iran, USA and Wales.
