Members of the Nigerians Governor Forum, under the APC on Tuesday paid a courtesy visit to the vice president of Nigeria, Professor Yemi Osinbajo at the state house Abuja

The vice president took to social media to announce the visitation, he said the meeting was not a tea party but a drive towards addressing pertinent issues affecting the country.

Professor Osinbajo also vowed to resolve all issues that were discussed at the meeting

The vice president has been usually quiet after losing the presidential primary of the APC to the eventual winner and his political mentor, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Osinbajo who came third at the primary election, has already mended his broken relationship with his former boss after a heated primary election.
Prof Osinbajo is yet to openly endorse Tinubu, a move political stakeholders in the country are seeing as a tactical withdrawal from the former the candidature of the former Lagos State governor.
The rivalry between Tinubu and Professor Osinbajo grew during the primary election when Bola Tinubu traveled to Ogun state, the home state of the vice president and narrated how he helped ‘their son’ become the vice president.
Political analysts are however of the opinion that the meeting by the governors is geared towards mending the fence between both leaders.
