Nollywood star Annie Idibia has taken to social media to reply to the trolls dragging her over her character in Netflix original series “Young, Famous, and African”. Since the airing show over the weekend, the actress has come under a lot of attacks as many claimed that she had nothing to show or brag about on the show other than the name of her husband 2face Idibia.

Many claimed that everything about the mother of 2 on the show revolved around her husband and her marriage. The TV star has now taken to Instagram to fire back at the trolls sharing that so many scenes were taken out on the show and she is much more than what was shown on the show. She noted that she was in Johannesburg for 4 months and she did a lot of work while she was there like granting TV interviews, magazine covers, and also launching a household cleaning company.

Annie Idibia explained that she gave them her life as a mother, an actress a career woman, and an entrepreneur. She shared that she gave her whole to the show and told her story as honestly and genuinely as it could be but painfully the other sides were never shown to the world. The mother of 2 explained that over the last 10 years she has had to work twice as hard at everything to prove herself because everything she’s worked for has always been attached to her husband but she’s grateful for the opportunity regardless.
