Anambra Election: Joint Security Operatives Repels Gunmen Attacks In Anambra, 5 Killed (Video)

As the tension builds up in Anambra State ahead of the November 6, Gubernatorial elections with the knowledge of the IPOB Sit-At-Home order the Nigeria Military arrived at the Anambra in a parade that was meant to be just a “Show Of Force” that quickly descended into a little of an American action war movie as the joint Nigerian Military security operatives were attacked and engaged in a gun battle by some unknown gunmen in an Anambra market in Idemili Local Government.

The surprise attack even saw the Anambra State Commissioner of Police Echeng Eworo Echeng, forced to partake in active action firing at the unknown gunmen, which saw 5 of the assailants killed and no casualties of the security men recorded.

The Commissioner of Police, who after the repelling of the attacks by unknown gunmen spoke to Channels new and called the attack a joke, because no one in its right senses should attack a convoy of Joint Security operatives that included, the Army, the Police, the Navy, the Civil Defence, and the DSS. He noted that such a brazen poorly thought-through attack could only have ended one way and which was what happened.

He noted while speaking with the media, that the joint efforts of the security operatives were ready to dominate all possible attacks and protect citizens of Anambra State while encouraging the people of Anambra to come out on the 6th of November to express their franchise and be rest assured of being protected.

In the videos shown below courtesy, Channels Television, innocent market women and men were shown laying on the ground during the attacks while praying for their safety as men of the Nigerian security operatives showed immense gallantry stop and capture the assailants.
