Ahmed Gulak: This Was Just A Senseless Killing, It Will Not Augur Well For Nigeria – Reno Omokri

Nigerian author and politician, Reno Omokri has condemned the gruesome murder of Ahmed Gulak, a former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan.

Recall both Reno Omokri and Ahmed Gulak served as aides to former President Goodluck Jonathan and thus they have a working relationship together.

According to Reno, the death of Gulak would not augur well for Nigeria. He commiserated with the family of the deceased as he asked God to grant them fortitude. In a post sighted on his Instagram page, he mourned the death of the former aide. He wrote that

Ahmed Gulak’s death is painful to me. I wanted to confirm it before commenting. No matter the circumstances of his death, killing him will not augur well for Nigeria, for the simple reason that he had a mindset which did not look down on others due to tribe or religion.

People like Ahmed are needed to bridge the divide between North and South. This was just a senseless killing. It will not serve the interests of those who may have done it, and it further heightens the type of tension whose end result no one can determine.
