KOKO Exclusive: Everybody Wants A Piece Of You – Actress Annes Anaekwe Reveals The Struggles Of Young Actors
Nollywood actress Annes Anaekwe has come out to drop her two cents on young actors’ struggles.
In an exclusive interview with KOKO TV, Annes Anaekwe stated that everybody wants to have a piece of you as long as you are a woman. Annes Anaekwe further stated that a young actor with money to push his/her way to the top would be forced to do things they do not want to do.

Annes Annaekwe made this revelation when she was asked the question, What are the struggles young actors face in getting roles? Annes Anaekwe replied saying; My dear, not even only the young actors, even as I am now, I’m still struggling. Yes, I am still struggling because the demands are just all over the place. The demands are too much. Look at me coming into the industry … oh you’re looking fresh, you did that, you did this, everybody wants to oh I like, let me date you, I’ll push you.

how many people do you want to accept? My dear that is what happens, and it happens everywhere. I’m a realtor now; I’m an interior designer. It happens everywhere… and is being a woman, and the second one is being a fine woman. So everybody wants a piece of you. If they are going to give you this, they must get this in return. So the struggle always is wanting to get there, and before you get there if you do not have your own money, like if you don’t have those little, little things that would, little little business that would be able to sustain you if you don’t have jobs coming in, then it will push you into doing things that you don’t want to do. So as a young growing actor, the struggle is always trying to get up there. So far, Annes Anaekwe has shown that she is here to stay for the long term.
