UN Officials Who Had Sex In Official Car Suspended

The United Nations UN officials who were filmed having sexual intercourse at the back seat of the organisations’ official car have been suspended without pay.
Recall that a viral video of the social media space and got the UN ‘shocked and disappointed’, and asking for an immediate investigation of the officials involved.

In a statement released on Thursday by Stéphane Dujarric, the spokesman for the UN’s Secretary General, the people in the video were identified as staff members of the United Nations Truce Supervision Organization (UNTSO), the UN military observers based in Israel.
Dujarric note that the duo who engaged in the act have been suspended without pay until the investigation into the incident has concluded.

He added that their suspension is appropriate as they failed to observe the standards of conducts expected of international civil servants. “Their suspension was appropriate given the seriousness of the allegations of failing to observe the standards of conduct expected of international civil servants. UNTSO has re-engaged in a robust awareness-raising campaign to remind its personnel of their obligations to the UN Code of Conduct“, he told BBC.
