A video of a couple having sexual intercourse in a United Nation’s official car has gone viral and gotten the attention of the organisation.
As seen in the video, the woman donned a red dress and was straddling the man in the back seat of the white vehicle with the organisation’s name, while the car stopped for traffic light. The video was said to be filmed on a main street by Tel Aviv’s seafront.
Reacting, the United Nations Secretary General’s spokesperson Stéphane Dujarric described the behaviour abhorrent, saying it goes against everything the UN stands for and has been working to achieve in terms of fighting misconduct by UN staff.

He noted further that investigations are ongoing to ascertain some questions such as if the sex is consensual or forced and to identify those in the car. “We are shocked and deeply disturbed by what is seen on this video. Those involved are believed to be staff members of a peacekeeping organisation in Israel. An investigation led by the UN’s Office of Internal Oversight Services is moving very quickly. We expect the process to be concluded very quickly and intend to promptly take the appropriate action“, Dujarric reportedly told BBC, adding that the location of the incident was known and identification of the individuals seen in the video was close to being completed.
