United Arab Emirate UAE’s VP and Prime Minister, and the Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has received praises from people of the world for his nation’s readiness in combating the deadly Coronavirus.
This is after a series of viral photos of him holding a cabinet meeting remotely via video conferencing on Sunday hit the internet. Sheikh Mohammed is seen in the pictures chairing the meeting with several ministers who appear on a large screen as they disccused preventive measures to protect heir citizens from getting infected with the deadly coronavirus.
As reported by Khaleej Times, the UAE has taken several steps to contain the disease, including a sanitisation across roads, virtual learning across schools, remote working for government departments, and shutting down of cinema halls and other such locations where people gather in large numbers.
Sheikh Mohammed also interacted with young students as he attended the first day of the spring semester in Al Majid Model School in Sharjahmore after more than 1.2 million students resumed schools remotely via distance learning.
