The woman, who has not been named, launched a $20million (£15m) lawsuit against the With You singer earlier this year, accusing him of drugging and sexually assaulting her.

The 32-year-old has now responded to the claims, sharing a voice note impliedly from the woman on his Instagram story.

‘Why are you giving me mixed signals? You’re reading my messages and stuff, you haven’t blocked me so I’m guessing you don’t hate me,’ a woman could be heard saying in the audio clip.

‘I just want to see you again. I mean, just answer the phone. Just let me know.  If you want me to leave you alone, I definitely will, but I really just want to f**k with you again.’

Alongside the voice note, Brown added: ‘No more dragging me through the mud. CLEARLY YOU CAN ALL SEE THE [blue cap emoji].

‘Me and my team are taking legal action on this situation. You don’t play with people lives like that. THX TEAM BREEZY [sic].’

Text messages obtained by TMZ show someone – thought to be the victim – also telling the musician: ‘Missing u.

‘U were honestly the best d**k I’ve had. Lol I just want it again.

‘Why u playing with meee lol.’

In another message, the woman said: ‘U knew full well I wasn’t pressing u bout no d***. U told me to stay and then gonna try to play me? Nah that’s crazy I didn’t deserve that but u def got it [sic].’

The woman previously said in legal documents that Brown urged her to come to fellow artist Diddy’s home in Miami.

She said that he gave her a drink and they started talking, and claimed that when he refilled her cup, she felt ‘a sudden, unexplained change in consciousness’.

The woman said she was ‘disoriented, physically unstable, and started to fall in and out of sleep’ and alleged that Brown took her to a bedroom while she was ‘drugged’ and ‘half-asleep’.

She claimed that he shut the bedroom door, barring her from leaving, and removed her bikini bottoms before raping her.

The lawsuit went on to claim that he messaged her the next day, demanding that she take Plan B (the morning after pill).

Her attorneys, Ariel Mitchell and George Vrabeck, said at the time that the woman did not initially report her ordeal to the police because she was a medical student and was embarrassed.
