Tyson Fury: I Only Want To Fight Anthony Joshua And Deontay Wilder

Self-proclaimed Gypsy King, Tyson Fury, has confessed through his manager that he is only interested in two fights this year – with Deontay Wilder and Anthony Joshua. You might recall that on December 1 in Los Angeles, Fury, 30, was denied one of the greatest comebacks in sport as the judges couldn’t separate him and Wilder. It meant the 33-year-old American kept hold of his WBC heavyweight world title. But Part II is firmly on the agenda according to Fury’s promoter Frank Warren. In his New Year Column, the Hall of Fame promoter wrote: “We want to make the fights that matter and that is what we will do. Those are the only fights Tyson Fury is interested in after reasserting himself as the world’s best heavyweight. He may not have the belts, but he is top of the charts again now and we are working on his rematch with Wilder.”With Warren confident Fury can claim the WBC strap that he feels he was robbed of in the winter, all eyes will be on a battle of Britain blockbuster against Joshua. Warren added: “After [Wilder] he will want Anthony Joshua. And there is no reason from our side why this shouldn’t become a reality. It is a fight the British public will demand to see before too long.”Photo Credit: Getty
