Tyson Fury Blasts Anthony Joshua And Dillian Whyte As He Congratulates Deontay Wilder

Former world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury has congratulated Deontay Wilder following the American’s dominant win over Dominic Breazeale, describing his heavyweight rival as the “second baddest man on the planet.”

Wilder, 33, beat his compatriot by first-round knockout to retain both his WBC world title and his unbeaten record in New York on Saturday night. As a result of his victory over Breazeale, the American has now won 41 of his 42 fights, with last December’s sensational draw against Fury the only blemish on his record.

By holding on to his WBC belt, Wilder kept the door open for a fight against WBO, IBF, and WBA title-holder Anthony Joshua to become the undisputed champion of the heavyweight division.

And after watching Wilder’s powerful display, Fury warned his rivals that anyone willing to meet The Bronze Bomber in the ring would suffer the same fate as Breazeale.

“I would just like to say well done to Deontay Wilder in knocking out Dominic Breazeale,” Fury said on Instagram after the fight. “I got that prediction quite correct. Anyone who wants to go toe-to-toe with Deontay Wilder will have the same fate as Dominic Breazeale and the rest of his 40 other victims. Anthony Joshua, you’ll get it as well – the same thing will happen to you mush. Dillian Whyte, you’ll get it as well. The Bronze Bomber is the most fearsome, most destructive puncher in the heavyweight division. It’s just a pity that he had to lose to the Gypsy King. Anyone who wants to stand in front of Deontay Wilder, he will knock them out. Deontay Wilder is the second baddest man on the planet behind the Gypsy King AKA Tyson Fury , the number one heavyweight in the world. Nobody can beat me, I can’t be touched.”

The 30-year-old, who is also undefeated from his 28 bouts, fought Wilder to a controversial draw in December in a meeting many believe the British heavyweight deserved to win.

Despite calls for a repeat of the epic encounter – which saw Fury recover from two knockdowns – both fighters have so-far failed to agree to a rematch, with the Brit now set to face Tom Schwarz in Las Vegas on June 15 .

“All parties involved are talking,” he told Showtime. “There’s too many people and opinions involved. It will take our teams to sit down, handle things, squash everything and get it done for the fans. The big fights will happen the way we all benefit. We risk our lives in here, so let us get our time to iron out our differences and you guys will know when it happens.”
