West Bromwich Albion players, Branislav Ivanovic and Matheus Pereira have tested positive to coronavirus.
Albion manager, Slaven Bilic said the club received the results earlier in the week and have sent the players into self-isolation.
“It’s a setback. We found out on Tuesday and Wednesday. We have put a team out that is very good.
A statement from West Brom reads, “Slaven Bilic has confirmed two Albion players will miss today’s Premier League fixture against Tottenham Hotspur after testing positive for COVID-19.
“Branislav Ivanovic and Matheus Pereira have begun a period of self-isolation.
“The club wishes the players a speedy recovery and will support them, if necessary, during their quarantine.”Photo Credit: Instagram
