Ace comedian Basketmouth has reacted to the suspension of social media platform Twitter by the federal government. The comedian in a video shared on his page explained that the microblogging platform is the first of many things the government will ban.
The comedian in the video shared that the government has been dropping hints about the ban before now when they spoke about China not using Whatsapp and other platforms in their country. He shared that certain politicians have also built their own apps which might be introduced to the people.
The comedian explained that Twitter will be the first and several other social media platforms will follow suit so the people need to get ready as they are trying to censor Nigeria’s communication with the outside world.
