Tweeps Drag Kaduna State Government Over Tuition Fees Increment By Kaduna State University

The Kaduna state government has come under attack on social media after it was reported that the state university increased its tuition fee from N26,000 to N500,000. The university’s Public Relation Officer (PRO), Adamu Nuhu Bargo, explained that the decision for an upward review in fee was to raise money for the university which has an annual internally generated revenue of N765.9 million.

Tweeps Drag Kaduna State Government Over Increment In Tuition Fees Of State University Social media users have slammed the school authority for the move explaining that it was very insensitive of them seeing that a lot of people were still recovering from the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on the economy. Tweeps also shared that the state suffers from major insecurity due to bandits and kidnapping in the region but the state government has ignored its pressing issues and has focused on school fees.
