Banky W has come under fire on Twitter for asking for the service of military officers in implementing and maintaining social distance order on the island.
The singer cum actor had set up an initiative to feed over 1000 people daily, however, he noted that the Lekki Food Bank is having issues encouraging the recipients to practice social distancing.
He then reached out to Governor Sanwo-Olu and Lagos State Government on Twitter, asking for help with security officials. “@followlasg @jidesanwoolu Pls we need help with our @lekkifoodbank. We serve over 1,000 meals PER DAY to the less privileged, but we need help with encouraging social distancing & order. It’s hard for 20+ volunteers to manage a crowd of thousands who are really starving.
