Toulouse Shooting: One Dead And Others Wounded As ‘Bikers’ Open Fire At French Bar

A major manhunt is underway in the French city of Toulouse tonight after a man was killed in a broad daylight shooting. The 35-year-old was killed in the Faourette district, shortly after 5pm local time, 4pm BST.At least two other men were injured in the attack, carried out by a pair of bikers, on the Papus Bar Toulouse. The injured men, one aged 41 and another in his 30s, have been taken to hospital with serious injuries. Reports suggest one of the injured was shot in the abdomen and is currently being operated on. Witnesses claim to have seen two suspects fleeing the scene.A police spokesman told local media: “It was quiet just before the shooting. People began gathering after hearing shots fired. “The police and ambulances arrived shortly after, setting up a safety perimeter.” A police cordon remains in place at the scene of the attack, with forensic officers examining. According to the Toulouse-based newspaper La Depeche, the deceased man was known to police.Photo Credit: Getty
