Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage takes up acting as she plays a lead role in the soon-to-be-released movie “Water and Garri”.
Taking to her social media, the sensational singer can’t hide her joy as she shares behind the scene pictures of the new movie.

Although this wouldn’t be Tiwa Savage’s first acting, she featured in a Nigeria series in 2009 titled ‘Shuga’ where she played the role of Sade, a mother of a young teenage boy.
Tiwa Savage went out of her way to take up the lead role in this exceptional movie. ‘Water and Garri’ is produced by Jimi Adesanya and directed by Meji Alabi.

The movie is reportedly shot in the city of Cape Coast in Ghana, it stars Tiwa Savage as a fashion designer who left her career in US to her home country in Africa to confront the guilt she left behind.
