Qatar 2022: Tite Confirms He Will Leave As Brazil Coach Following Shock World Cup Exit To Croatia

Following their shocking world cup exit in the hands of Croatia yesterday night, Brazil coach, Tite has now confirmed that he will depart the Selecao, as their first team manager.


Before taking over Brazil, Tite was in charge of Corinthians where he won Brasileiro Serie A, the Copa Libertadores and the 2012 FIFA Club World Cup. It remains to be seen if he intends to return to club football or look for another job with a national side.

The manager was at the centre of heavy criticism over his choice during the game yesterday. Some pundits were of the opinion that Arsenal striker,  Gabriel Martinelli shouldn’t be warming the bench, while Roodrygo is on the pitch.

Tite was also blamed for allowing the young Rodrygo to take the first penalty, knowing how inexperienced he was.

Former Manchester United captain Roy Keane, was also very angry at Tite, for dancing everytime Brazi scored at the tournament. Keane believes that the act was not only disrespectful to their opponent but also morally degrading.
