Investigative journalist, social critic and a vocal member of the ‘obidient’ movement, David Hundeyin took to social media to accuse Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu of being an imposter, and that the former Lagos State governor is not from Lagos.
Hundeyin in a Twitter post on his verified handle claims that Tinubu’s real name is ‘Amoda Ogunlere’ and that the former Senator is not from Lagos but from Iragbiji, in Osun State.
He stated further that the original indigenous Lagosians are not much and Tinubu is not part of them. He maintained that names like Buknoor, Alakija, Akerele, Adeniji-Jones, Rhodes-Vivour and the likes are the real sons of Lagos.

The critic argued that the APC candidate stole the identity of a woman, whose name was Bola Tinubu and has been using the name since then. He also maintained that Jagaban was nowhere to be found before 1991 and came out of the blues to rule and trample on real Lagosians.

Social media users have lashed on the story and spewing quite a lot of conspiracy stories on the identity of Asiwaju, his past, his certificates and how he acquired his wealth over the years.
