Why Abba Kyari’s Wife Slumped And Fainted

A lady who has been identified as the wife of the embattled suspended Deputy Commissioner of Police, DCP, Abba Kyari made headlines across the country on Monday morning, March 14 after news of her slumping and fainted immediately at the Federal High Court.

The reason behind Haija Kyari’s slump is yet to be ascertained but eyewitnesses are reported to have said she slumped on the ground shortly after the judge of her husband’s trial, Justice Emeka Nwite had deferred ruling on applications that DCP Kyari and six other persons facing the drug trafficking charges with her husband, including one Bawa James, John Nuhu and others were asked to be remanded further in deterrence of their filed suit to be released on bail, pending the determination of the case against the DCP and his cohorts.

She fell on the floor while armed operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, were leading Kyari and the others away from the court premises.

Just earlier today, news also broke that the NDLEA traced a sum of over N4.2bn to the accounts of Abba Kyari and his co-accused.
