Knowing and understanding what can serve as a limitation for you when you travel across the shores of Nigeria, will enable you be prepared for the rainy day. 1. Language Barrier
If you are traveling to a country where English is not their official language it will do you a lot of good to learn the basic language of your intended country. It is certainly not a good feeling to get somewhere and you are lost in the process of communication.

2. Racism
In as much as this is an age-long fact, a lot of people have stated that it is one of the challenges you might face when you travel abroad. Racism is something black people have been battling with from time immemorial, and even though a lot of people no longer segregate when it comes skin colour, there are still some who do. Ensure to understand the new environment you are about to step into.

3. Climate Uncertainties
Irrespective of how much of online research you do before you travel abroad, it is difficult to predict how the weather is like till you reach there. Indoor climate control, the city infrastructure and even regional characteristics can affect what you might wear day today.

You may find yourself very much affected by the sudden shift in culture. Starting from food and rituals to transport systems, style of dress- all these may differ from those in your home country. Unfortunately, this culture shock can always lead to frustration, anxiety, and homesickness. If you are not prepared to cope with these differences, it can lead to considerable amounts of stress even in scenarios where you’re performing normal day to day tasks.
5. Managing Finance
If you are not a prudent spender you will have issues with spending the moment you leave the shores of Nigeria because its a different ball game entirely. Have an open mind and know how to balance your spending in alignment with the currency you will be working with.

When you step into a foreign country there are certain words that you should know in order to make your stay smoother and easier.
