Nollywood star Tonto Dikeh has penned the most beautiful note to mothers in celebration of Mother’s day. The actress took to her Instagram page to pen a lengthy note to every mother out there celebrating their strength, their scars, and their amazing personalities.
The actress in her post celebrated every single mother who has to look beyond society’s scorn and pain to sacrifice for her child. She shared that a lot of single mums decided to prioritize their sanity and peace by walking out of their marriage, leaving the deadbeat fathers of their children.

Tonto also spoke to mothers who are stuck in bad marriages while trying to build their homes. She pointed out that that motherhood is not the symbol of suffering and that such women should stop self-sabotaging and minimizing their peace. She advised them to find the courage to leave any marriage that doesn’t serve their interests too.
