Nigeria’s Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Festus Keyamo has welcomed Governor Ben Ayade of Cross River State as he dumped his now former and opposition party People’s Democratic party PDP to the ruling All Progressives Congress APC.
Recall that Ben Ayade had announced his decision this morning in a meeting with six APC governors who visited him at the Government House. He was also made the leader of the party in the State.
Taking to twitter to welcome him to the party, Festus Keyamo said this day is one they have been waiting for, describing him as his brother and friend from the South South region, one of the most cerebral, the most progressive, enlightened and accomplished Governors in the nation.
