This Nigerian Music Producer Wants To Land A Grammy!

Krizbeatz wants to bring Nigerians the highly anticipated Grammy Award.

The Nigerian music producer who released his Afro Dance Music (ADM) album in 2017 said he’s “surely winning” the Grammy by 2020 – the same year we expect Kanye West would’ve officially announced his intention to run as US president and maybe attend the music awards in style. ’’You know they say for every goal, you have a duration. I am looking at the next two years.” Krizbeatz to Pulse. “I know for the stage that I am today, I am 60% close to achieving this, and with all I have been working on, by the end of the year, I will be 80% ready. So in two years time, I am surely winning the Grammy.”

African musicians that have won the Grammys since it was first awarded in May 1959 as Gramophone Award, include Ali Farka Touré (Mali), Owuor Arunga (Kenya), Angélique Kidjo (Benin), Ladysmith Black Mambazo (South Africa), Soweto Gospel Choir (South Africa), Tinariwen (Mali), Youssou Ndour (Senegal), Kevin Olusola (Nigeria). Nigerian music stars that have been nominated for the Grammys include, Femi Kuti and Wizkid. Krizbeatz is popular for producing Tekno’s 2016 hit, “Pana,” and he also worked on “Erima” featuring Davido and Tekno.
