Stating that she does what she does because every black child needs to know they can be whoever they want.

These heartfelt lines came as a result of a schoolgirl who ran into while walking on the streets and burst into tears of joy. The musician shared a video on her social media of the emotional experience. She describes the hug given to her by the young girl as the biggest hug ever. She tweeted saying; This schoolgirl saw me in ran up to give me the biggest hug and started crying… This is WHY I do WHAT I do. Every black child needs to know they can be whoever they want, and they are more than enough!
