New Arsenal boss, Unai Emery, has disclosed that Mesut Ozil will play a vital role in the redefined Arsenal team that will challenge for the title in the 2018/19 premier league season.
Though the club has been linked with several transfer targets ahead of the 2018/19 campaign, Emery reinstated that he is impressed with the crop of players he inherited from Arsene Wenger.
Speaking in his first press conference at the Emirate stadium, Emery said: “He’s one of biggest talents here at Arsenal and I want talented players here. I want to spend time here with him and all players. I want to speak to them about how inspired and excited I am to be here. Above all I think this is a wonderful project and we all must give 100 per cent – I expect that from players and myself.”
