Popular pastor Laurie Idahosa has shared her thoughts on people naming their child after a child that they lost a while back. A lot of parents name their kids after a child that they once lost believing that the newborn is the lost child that reincarnated.
The pastor today took to social media to address the trend describing it as wrong and unscriptural. She shared the story of a church member who lost a baby and was pregnant again and she believed her lost son was the one who returned again. Laurie said it is a practice among a lot of mothers and it is wrong.
She noted that unless someone is raised from the dead, as in Lazarus or Jairus Daughter they do not come back in the human form as someone else.
