Kobe Bryant’s widow, Vanessa has called out American rapper Meek Mill for his lyric on her deceased husband, saying it is disrespectful and extremely insensitive.
In his yet-to-be-released leaked track with Lil Baby titled Don’t Worry, Meek Mill had rapped, “This b– I’m f—in’ always tell me that she love but she ain’t ever showed me. Yeah, and if I ever lack, I’m goin’ out with my chopper, it be another Kobe”.
This did not go down well with a lot of people and they have slammed him severely. Vanessa Bryant has also taken to her Instagram story to react. Noting that she is not familiar with Meek Mill’s music, she asked that he should be able to do better in admiration of her late husband if he is a fan.

“Dear @meekmill , I find this line to be extremely insensitive and disrespectful. Period. I am not familiar with any of your music, but I believe you can do better than this. If you are a fan, fine, there’s a better way to show your admiration for my husband. This lacks respect and tact”, she wrote.
Ace American basketball player for the Chicago Sky of the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA) Candace Parker, however, reached out to Vanessa apologising for what she has just been put through.
