Timi Dakolo, one of Nigeria’s most popular singers, has spoken about elections in Nigeria.
The singer said elections have changed in Nigeria as rigging has been made difficult.
Dakolo noted that the amended 2022 electoral act signed by President Muhammadu Buhari sometime in February 2022 is a big plus for Nigeria.
According to him, now only candidates the people like will win as chances of winning if the electorates don’t like you is ‘SLIM”
He made this known via his Twitter page as the results of the Osun governorship poll show Senator Ademola Adeleke won the election. His tweet read:
“This electoral act that @MBuhari signed is actually a big plus for Nigeria. Rigging will be hard if the people protect their vote. If the people don’t like you, your chances are slim.”
