This Brazilian Defender Will Miss The 2018 World Cup In Russia

Brazil’s world-cup hopes suffered another disappointing setback, as their offensive full-back, Dani Alves has been ruled out of the global tournament after he suffered a knee injury while playing for Paris Saint Germain.
The country’s football governing body, Brazil Football Federation, confirmed the devastating news in a press statement released on Saturday.
Alves suffered the disappointing injury while playing in Tuesday’s 2-0 French Cup victory over Les Herbiers. Global football icon, Abedi Pele also confirmed the injury via his official Twitter handle. See his tweet below:
I am so sad to hear this. Footballers hate missing games but I know first-hand that missing #WorldCup games is the worst feeling.”
