After reports of President Buhari error in his speech during his campaign in Ekiti state, the president was quoted saying he ascended office in 2005, many Nigerians have been quick to judge him, saying his old age is the reason he can’t remember when he got into office. Amongst those people is the former presidential aide, Reno Omokri who took to social media to say; “We are very conscious of the promise we made when we are coming in in 2005”- @MBuhari
He DOES NOT know when he became President. He DOES NOT know he is the Presidential (or gubernatorial) candidate. He can’t read his note”.
the former governor of Ekiti also seized the opportunity to shade the president, saying, ‘‘ the man could not even remember when he assumed office. He said in Ekiti today that he assumed office in 2005. Yet, they still want him to continue as President. Must they ruin Nigeria just to promote their personal interests? Why can’t they just allow this man to go home and rest?”
