There Is Positive Anger Among My Players & Staff – Super Eagles Coach Reveals

The Nigerian team manager, Gernot Rohr has revealed anger among his World Cup squad.

Super Eagles lost 1-0 to Czech Republic on Wednesday (June 6) in their final warm-up game ahead of the 2018 FIFA World Cup nd the team have nine days to be ready for our first match vs Croatia on June 16 at the 35,212 capacity Kaliningrad Stadium, Russia. “After the loss to the Czech Republic, there is positive anger among the players & staff. This keeps us focused & humble,” Rohr said in a statement released via team’s official Twitter account. “It was quiet in camp today. Our boys had excellent recovery session this morning.”

Nigeria will take on Argentina, Croatia and Iceland in Group D. Arsenal star,  Pierre Emerick Aubameyang and Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho both supported the Nigerian team to go far in the tournament. Super Eagles will face France in the last 16-round should Mourinho’s premonitions come true.
