UEFA Champions League Last 16 Draw: Messi To Face Ronaldo As PSG Draws Manchester United And Atletico Madrid Against Bayern Munich

The Champions League gets serious from here. Europe’s major clubs have their focus fixed firmly on the knock-out stages of the draw in Nyon, Switzerland.Manchester UnitedLiverpool and Chelsea finished as group winners so will face a runner-up in the last-16, the most dangerous opponent of which is Paris Saint-Germain.

Chelsea, meanwhile, could draw any of Europe’s major sides such as Bayern Munich or Real Madrid after finishing second in their group.

The eyes of European football turn to Nyon where the last-16 of the Champions League is drawn out. All four English clubs make the knock-outs but its Chelsea who have the most to worry about as they will be drawn against a group winner.

The away goals rule has been removed for the 2021/22 competition, meaning matches that end in a draw after 180 minutes will go to extra time.
