2018 has seen Nigerian artist at their best as they all seem to be invested in their craft and determined to make the country proud. but among the multitude, there are five artists that have done exceptionally well.
1. Burna Boy: 
He set the pace for the music industry by releasing the album of the year at the beginning of the year, despite releasing hits back to back all through the year, Burna Boy has gone on sold-out shows making Nigerians understand that he is number 1.
2. Wizkid: 
Despite having an incredible 2017, this individual decided not to slow down as he beat his own record, with his song ‘Fever’ being the fast Nigerian song to reach one million on Youtube.
3. Davido:
Known as one of the most hardworking guys in the industry, Davido did not relent from dropping hits as his song ‘Fall’ hit 100 million view becoming the most watched Nigerian music video.
4. Teni: 
With officially introducing herself with the song ‘Fargin’ in 2017, Teni proved to be more than just a one hit wonder as she made sure 2018 was her year of hit.
5. Slimcase: 
2018 was the year of the streets and Slimcase proved himself as the able leader of the streets as he released street bangers back to back and ended up creating some street slangs.
