Yes, being a fan is standing by your fav no matter what but it definitely becomes toxic when followers turn to fighters, fighting battles that are not even theirs to start with.

But the rivalry between fans seems to have taken a not too good turn with the rise of social media and the ‘stan culture’. It’s good to stan for your fav but it becomes bothersome and toxic when your fav is all you see and then you make another celebrity feel like dirt.
