Omawunmi Megbele known by her stage name as Omawumi, is a Nigerian singer-songwriter of Itsekiri. In 2007, she auditioned for the West African version of the TV talent show, franchise Idols where she was voted the first runner-up. In 2009, she released her debut album titled ‘Wonder Woman’.
