The Lockdown In England Won’t Affect The EPL – PM Boris Johnson

The British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has said on Saturday that the English Premier League matches won’t be affected as a new month-long national lockdown which starts next week is imposed in the UK.

The Newly set to be imposed lockdown in the country is set to contain the growing new cases of the coronavirus outbreak currently been witnessed across Europe, Germany, France and Italy are countries that have already imposed a COVID19 induced lockdown. 

Johnson had in an address said there was a need for a return to the lockdown measure as the pandemic was showing no signs of abating.
