The King of Music and the Ultimate Fuji artiste Dr. Wasiu Ayinde Marshal K1, today on the 13th Of January 2020, has been installed as the Maiyegun of Yorubaland. 
The installation which is still ongoing has in attendance fellow celebrities and well-wishers.
The title of Mayegun of Yorubaland is being conferred on K1 by the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi. He becomes the first to hold the title in Yorubaland.
One of those who have congratulated K1 on social media is Lagos NURTW boss Musiliu Akinsanya aka MC.
He wrote: “I Alhaji Musiliu Ayinde Akinsanya “Mc Oluomo”, On behalf of NURTW Lagos State Council Felicitates with King Alhaji Wasiu Ayinde Marshal “KWAM 1” as the first Mayegun of Yoruba land.
