Nigerian entrepreneur and philanthropist, Tony Onyemaechi Elumelu, who is the Chairman of Heirs Holdings, the United Bank for Africa and Transcorp, over the past weekend, threw a 90th birthday party for his mother, Mrs Susan Elumelu.
The billionaire businessman kicked-off the celebration of his mother’s birthday celebrations with a Thanksgiving service at the Church of Assumption in Lagos, and a reception in Victoria Island, Lagos after.
“It was a great privilege to honour and celebrate our mother Chief Mrs S.N. Elumelu, on the occasion of her 90th birthday yesterday with our friends and well wishers. Mama is the foundation of who and what we are in business, as wives & husbands and as parents #SN90 #SNat90 #SNE90,” Elumely wrote on some photos from the event he shared on social media.
In another set of photos he posted, the billionaire mogul, Tony Elumelu wrote;Â “Mama taught us the importance of legacy and of the integral role of women to the development of Africa. I celebrated her yesterday with my friends and family but I celebrate her every single day in everything I do. #SN90 SNat90 #SNE90 #SNEat90 #TOEWay.”
