Self-Love Or Insecurity, The Growing Trend Of BBL & Liposuction

Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) is a cosmetic surgery that uses fat transfer to enhance and reshape the buttock. Fat transfer involves extracting excess fat from one area of the body, such as the hips, and transferring the fat cells to another part, in this case, the buttocks.

The surgeon uses liposuction to extract the fat cells needed for the procedure. So one can say that BBL and liposuction go hand in hand. Undergoing surgical processes to enhance your body is an act that goes way back and a lot of people today equate their sexy bodies to these surgical processes. Coming down to today’s society, over the years, there have been a growing trend of an influx of women going under the knife in order to enhance their bodies and BBL/liposuction is at the end of this tunnel. Many have come out to say that they did BBL or liposuction for themselves.

So when they go under the knife, their self confidence increases and following the above, self love. On the other hand, some argue that undergoing the BBL/liposuction just goes to show that you are not confident of your God-given body, you are insecure and the likes. Whether undergoing BBL/liposuction procedure is a sign of self-love or insecurity the point is to do what works for you and what your conscience can carry at the end of the day.
