The Immediate past Governor of Lagos State, Akinwunmi Ambode who was ousted as the governor of Lagos State after stepping on some big toes within his party the All Progressive Congress in a brutal democratic take-over as come out again to declare his intention to return for another 4-years as the governor of Lagos State. The former Governor as finally hinted on his ambition to return to the number political position in Lagos State, as he thanks all those who stood by him during his trying times, while also acknowledging the overwhelming endorsement he’s received for the contribution of his quota to the development of Lagos State.

During his time in power, he was seen as a representative of the youthful Lagosian populace, he has now declared his second coming while the incumbent governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu says he’s still in consultations before he declares his intention for re-election.

Ambode declares that it can only get better for Lagos and indeed Nigeria while noting that it’s the time for the youths to take over, while noting that power is in their hands.
