“The Federal Government Is Prosecuting Me For No Reason” – Kingsley Kuku

Former Special Adviser to the President on Niger Delta Affairs, Mr. Kingsley Kuku, has accused the Buhari-led Federal government of Nigeria of prosecuting him for no reason.
The former presidential adviser also claimed that the hidden investigation carried out by some security operatives have placed the lives of his family members in danger.
Mr Kuku said: “I am being persecuted for no reason. The lives of my immediate family and 84-year old mother are in danger. It was indeed a great embarrassment and surprise to me when I received telephone calls from Arogbo, my hometown in Ondo State, Nigeria, that more than 20 armed Policemen, with other plainclothes men stormed my house. They broke the gate with sophisticated equipment, gained entry into the compound, vandalized all the doors in the house, and ransacked all the rooms unaccompanied by anybody.”
Mr Kuku’s name entered the headlines few days ago, when no less than 25 armed policemen from the Nigerian Police Force Headquarters, Abuja invaded his house in Ondo state.
