Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Festus Keyamo, has mocked supporters of Peter Obi, the Labour Party presidential candidate.
Keyamo, who is also the spokesperson of the Tinubu/APC presidential campaign council, said that the rallies which are being held by Obi’s supporters known as ‘Obidients’ across the country, does not consist of more than 1000 people.
According to him, they allegedly use the marches to get money from motorists and non-supporters of the former Anambra state governor.
He stated this in a series of tweets on Saturday, October 1, 2022 when Obidient rallies held in Akwa Ibom, Edo, Lagos, Delta, Kaduna and Bauchi states.
Keyamo tweeted; ”Bursting their bubble: most of them just came out to use the so-called ‘March’ to ‘rag’ non-obedient and peaceful passersby for money. They don’t give ‘shi shi’, but they want ‘shi shi!’ . Talk of second branch of People Deceiving People!”
He added; ”The aerial shots are the best. Now, look at this: at best the ‘crowd’ here is not more than a thousand people which is approximately just two polling units.”
