VP Osinbajo Meets With Ministers To Discuss Economic Sustainability Plan

Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo met with certain Ministers in Abuja to discuss the forthcoming Economic Sustainability Plan.

This was disclosed by the VP’s spokesman, Laolu Akande, in a statement, where he said the meeting was in ensuring the fulfillment of the Economic Sustainability Committee (ESC).

The meeting according to Akande was to seek out measures to safeguard the nation’s economy in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Next week, the ESC will also be meeting with the Presidential Economic Advisory Council ahead of the completion and submission of its report to the President.”

Ministers present at the meeting include,Ministers of Industry, Trade and Investment and Science and Technology, Ministers of Transportation, Aviation, Interior, Health, Works and Housing, Labour and Employment and Education.Photo Credit: Getty
