Niniola is indeed a cheerful giver, but losing her phone is not a good one! The Nigerian singer was earlier reported to have been robbed in South Africa, losing her phone, a bag that contained valuables and over R300000 in cash. However, a report from her camp has refuted the news saying the singer instead “gave up her phone,” willingly. “She was not robbed of her phone while having dinner with her friends. ‘Who goes around with so much cash?” a representative of the “Maradona” singer told Pulse. Niniola who just dropped the remix of her new single “Magun,” featuring Busiswa was recently in South Africa where she was alleged to have been attacked by three robbers while having lunch with friends at the McDonalds in Sandton City. The insider further explained that, “The robbers came into the restaurant and recognised Niniola and started harassing her friends, she gave up her phone so they could leave them alone.” Niniola’s friend is said to have confirmed that a police case had been opened with the Sandton division, with the CMCO of McDonald’s expressing regret and sympathy over the incident.
