In a world where almost many guys are misled into making the sacred marriage decision by some individuals and factors, there are few extremely important things that every guy must think of before making the considering himself manly enough to be the head of a home.
Unlike relationships, that can easily prosper on just love and quality communication, marriage requires a great deal of physical, material, attitudinal and emotional qualities from both parties, before it can successfully stand against the inevitable trials of life that it is bound to face. Some of these extremely important things include:
1. Comfortable shelter: The first step towards building a home with a woman is to have a home of your own. Every marriage reasoning guy must have a home conducive enough to accommodate at least two people pending the arrival of the children.
2. At least one reliable source of income: Families are not built on dreams and wishes. You need all shades of good money in your coffers if you intend to give your family a comfortable life. Though several marriage counselors have given multiple stories of how some good marriage started out with life in penury, towing their lane is a very risky decision that will truly unveil the negative attitude that accompanies a poor standard of living.
3. A matured mind: This requirement have been the bedrock of thousands of divorce cases in the 21st century. The bad part of this requirement is the fact that an immature individual does not realize his immaturity, and he will violently fight against any individual that tries to educate him on it. The core factor that you can easily use to assess your level of maturity is your ability to tolerate others, cos marriage requires a great deal of tolerance.
4. Good communication skills: The level of communication in a home determines the level of peace and happiness that radiates in the family. Unlike the employer-employee relationship that requires a restricted level of communication, marriage requires an unlimited level of communication.
5. A caring heart: Marriage requires caring on all spheres. Caring for your wife, caring for your children, taking care of their basic needs, and at the end of the day, taking care of yourself.
