The president of the Nigerian Football Federation, Amaju Pinnick has revealed that over four of its staff members have tested positive to the novel coronavirus.
Pinnick disclosed this in a post shared to his Twitter page, where he disclosed that the Federation had lost an important team member during surgery.
He also stated that the Federation conducted a test on its members and four of them have tested positive to the coronavirus.
“Good afternoon. As part of our commitment to transparency, probity and openness, I would like to brief Nigerians of events as they unfold in football development. Firstly, a tragic note, as we lost the head of the ICT department, Mr. Tolulope Abe to complications arising from surgery. May His soul rest in Peace.
